Reinventing the Wheel...Not so Much

Making our family blog private has made keeping in touch a bit harder with family and friends. My poor sister -- the one who convinced me I NEEDED a blog to keep in touch when she moved half way around the world-- missed several blog posts during the endeavor, because she didn't know I had posted. She felt like she had to play catch up. I've had similar experiences with other private blogs that I follow, so when I ran across this AWESOME idea I jumped on it! :)
